“Being online has allowed us working RNs to be able to gain this valuable experience on our own time when it is most convenient. I’m still able to discuss with my classmates and have an effective conversation going through Sakai discussions even though I work nights and sleep in the daytime”

“Each (activity or assignment) had information that I didn’t know about and that I could relate to my current practice. This program has given me confidence in the areas of leadership and management. I feel so happy that I chose to get my BSN through this program, and often it doesn’t feel like school. I enjoy the learning material, and the help and knowledge all the instructors bring are impressive."

“While your ADN program taught you the fundamentals of becoming a nurse, OHSU's program will broaden your perspective, illustrating how your role as a nurse fits into your community and the healthcare system as a whole. Topics and issues that were briefly touched upon or only briefly mentioned in your ADN program will be explored in depth here at OHSU. You'll delve into concepts that hold greater significance for you now. You'll explore how to leverage your role to support the healthcare system, contribute to your community, and understand your place in our society from a broader perspective. These are the subjects you'll have the opportunity to explore in the RN to BSN program at OHSU.”
